Why did you join the Vision 2040 Steering Committee?
I jumped in near the beginning of the Vision 2040 process, hoping to help guide and develop our community's future. It's so exciting and fulfilling because of the people, the ideas, and the possibilities it brings to our communities.
What Vision 2040 project or initiative are you most passionate about and why?
I don't know if there is one project or initiative that I can single out, there have been so many amazing things that have come from the work of Vision 2040: the destination playground, Leadership 2040, Willmar's Dog park, Movies in the Park. It might be the people we've connected with, their hopes, dreams and ideas that have been shared, talked about and have developed and nurtured through the process.
What's their favorite place in Kandiyohi County and why?
Robbins Island on a late July Tuesday night at a Rockin' Robbins event!
