Why did you join the Vision 2040 Steering Committee?
To support community led initiatives. To enhance the importance of diversity and inclusion as a key principle to community development work. To inspire future generations of community leaders to create a community where all can succeed.
What Vision 2040 project or initiative are you most passionate about and why?
Vision 2040 Leadership. This professional development experience allows community businesses and organizations to foster community mindedness within their employees while benefiting from effective leadership internally and externally.
What's their favorite place in Kandiyohi County and why?
Not one place, rather the attention to natural places - i.e. Sibley State Park, Prairie Woods Environmental Center, Robbins Island Park, the many lakes and rivers to enjoy. If I had to select one it would be Robbins Island Destination Playground. It is a perfect example of community engagement and it offers an opportunity for all to enjoy while focusing on our future - children!
