Why did you join the Vision 2040 Steering Committee?
I am most passionate about bringing people together for health equity. I feel the Vision 2040 Steering Committee is open to being inclusive to people with these needs. I will do my part to lead its members to be successful in this area.
What Vision 2040 project or initiative are you most passionate about and why?
As a Community Health and Wellness Specialist with CentraCare, my hope is to share daily living related resources with people who want and deserve more for their health. Many people experience social determinants of health throughout their lives and don't know where to go to get the proper resources that will help them. It is my passion to reach out to those in need and if the resource isn't there, find a way to bring it to the community.
What's their favorite place in Kandiyohi County and why?
Robbins Island is one of my favorite places in Kandiyohi County. Its a natural space where many events are organized for the many cultures of the area and organizations often think of this space to bring people together.
Where are you employed? What is your profession?
I am employed with CentraCare and serve the communities of Paynesville, Willmar and Redwood Falls. I am a Regional Community Health and Wellness Specialist.
