Age-Friendly Communities Survey

The Vision 2040 Health and Wellness Focus Group has been working towards becoming an age-friendly community. The Age-Friendly Communities Network is a member of the AARP's and strives to identify the community's needs and develop an action plan to address the community's needs.

AARP is helping to make communities more livable for people of all ages. The AARP Livable Communities Initiative supports the efforts of neighborhoods, towns, cities and rural areas to be great places for people of all ages. We believe that communities should provide safe, walkable streets; age-friendly housing and transportation options; access to needed services; and opportunities for residents of all ages to participate in community life.

We Need Your Help!

In order to determine what the needs are in the Willmar community, we need you to speak up! Take our 15-minute survey by February 29, 2024 to share your insight.

Print the Survey

The Age-Friendly Communities Survey can also be taken in paper format. We will be hosting a variety of gatherings with the mission of getting more respondents. However, if you would like to print it out on your own, please choose the language and drop it off at the Willmar City Offices. If you are unable to get the printed version to the Willmar City Offices please contact Pablo Obregon, Anessa Peterson or Michelle Kiefer.
