“Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of human change.” — Bob Kerrey

Chloe Halvorson graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 2016 and is a Kandiyohi CEO Alum. She is continuing her education at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in

Management and a minor in Psychology. In addition to being a Social Media and Marketing Intern for Vision 2040, she works at the Hamline Undergraduate Admission Office as a Lead Ambassador. Next year, she will be a Resident Advisor at Hamline.

During the summer, Chloe loves to spend time with family and friends on the lake, and enjoys working at Johnny O’Neil’s in Spicer because of its fun atmosphere. In her spare time, she loves to read, doodle, watch movies, and tell puns!

As an intern for Vision 2040, Chloe is most excited to form new relationships and connections within the Kandiyohi community and further develop her skills in marketing and communication.

“And I knew exactly what to do. But in a much more real sense, I had no idea what to do.”” — Michael Scott

Ingrid Figenskau graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 2016 and is a Kandiyohi CEO Alum. She is continuing her education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Information Systems. Ingrid is also a campus manager for University Tees in which she works closely with various student organizations on campus to create awesome and unique apparel. Lastly, Ingrid is the philanthropy director of her sorority and has helped to raise over 5,000 dollars for their philanthropy CASA.

Ingrid loves to rollerblade, wakeboard, paint, and hangout with friends and family (obviously)! Her favorite holiday is the 4th of July, and she will be spending a month in London this summer! While in London, she will be taking a class at the London School of Economics.

I cannot wait to show people all the things that are going on in our community because this is where I grew up and I want to share this place with as many people possible in hopes they love it as much as I do.
